I understand therapy is a financial commitment. However, it is also an investment in your future! My fees are based on market standards and the level of experience I bring to the table. I am a master’s level clinician with years of work experience.
I do not participate with insurance panels and am considered out-of-network. I have decided to focus on providing the best care without being controlled by insurance companies. Insurance companies dictate clinical decisions, including but not limited to the frequency of sessions and treatment based on a diagnosis. My decision to not participate in insurance allows more privacy and autonomy. In addition, since I am not required to provide a mental health diagnosis, I can keep my client records completely confidential.
I provide a “superbill” to all clients so they may file out-of-network claims with their insurance company. A superbill is an itemized invoice containing basic information requested by insurance companies before they will reimburse for services. My clients pay me directly at the time of service, then file their out-of-network claim to their insurance company. Then, the insurance company will reimburse the client according to their plan benefits.
