I understand therapy is a financial commitment. It is also an important investment in your health. My fees are based on market standards and the level of experience I bring to the table. I am a master’s level clinician with years of work experience.
I do not participate with insurance panels and am considered out-of-network. I have decided to focus on providing the best care without being controlled by insurance companies. Insurance companies dictate clinical decisions, including but not limited to the frequency of sessions and treatment based on a diagnosis. My decision to not participate in insurance allows more privacy and autonomy. In addition, since I am not required to provide a mental health diagnosis, I can keep my client records completely confidential. This is especially important to me when working with minors.
I provide a “superbill” to all clients so they may file out-of-network claims with their insurance company if they wish to do so. A superbill is an itemized invoice containing clinical information requested by insurance companies before they will reimburse for services. My clients pay me directly at the time of service, then file their out-of-network claim to their insurance company. Then, the insurance company will reimburse the client according to their plan benefits.
**please speak with your insurance company directly to understand your out-of-network coverage.
