I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I hold a bachelor's degree in Creative Arts Therapy from The University of the Arts and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University.
There is absolutely no "one size fits all"! I love getting to know my clients on a level that allows us to work together in finding skills that will feel good to utilize! Your days may feel overwhelming, challenging, quite complicated AND that doesn't mean you need to "push" through! Many of my clients benefit from skills found in CBT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I love to incorporate creative arts and movement in when possible (especially with kids and teens!)
My hope is that you always feel comfortable and safe sharing your stories with me. I show up authentically hoping you will do the same! I am not an expert on your life, I'm only someone who wants to see you thrive and with a little nurturing, may help you get there.
